Key Responsibilities
  • Lead best practice initiatives and support the Quality Manager in enhancing internal processes.
  • Review and drive Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) for non‑conformance reports.
  • Manage and support the Technical and Quality team during external and customer audits.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports within the Q&T team, conducting performance development reviews (PDRs).
  • Plan, conduct, and maintain internal audit schedules.
  • Perform external audits on suppliers and subcontractors to maintain approved vendor lists (AVL).
  • Provide technical support to customers and sales teams, resolving queries and issues effectively.
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining supplier approvals, ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
  • Conduct technical contract reviews for all departmental sales and material orders.
  • Carry out inspections on materials and test pieces as required.
  • Support administrative teams with technical aspects of material commodity codes.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external quality issues to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Analyze operational and quality data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions collaboratively.
  • Liaise with sales and engineering teams to communicate future customer requirements to Operations.
  • Deliver in‑house technical training and mentoring for staff.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to support technical matters and promote products.
  • Maintain flexibility to cover holidays, sickness, and support other divisions as required.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
Professional Experience & Skills
  • Extensive experience in technical management roles in aerospace, metals processing, and engineering industries.
  • In‑depth knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9120 quality management standards.
  • Lead auditor experience (advantageous).

35‑hour work week (day shift), with flexibility to work overtime as required. (8.30 – 16.30 Monday – Thursday and 8.30 – 13.30 Fridays)
