Job summary

Our client, a leading UK contract beverage canning and packaging facility, is seeking a Head of Technical to join and lead the Technical and Quality teams. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient site operation while meeting customer requirements and implementing the technical and quality strategy.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary Quality team, oversee measurement of raw materials, product, process and packaging standards, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience.
• IOSH safety qualification minimum.
• Experience in Manufacturing and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary team within Quality Department.
• Provide expert support to manufacturing on measurement of raw materials, product, process and packaging standards.
• Ensure training is completed to maintain safe and efficient operation and manage training budget.
• Develop a team that is motivated and flexible to changing customer needs.
