Job summary

Benjamin-Grace Limited is recruiting an experienced Technical Project Manager - RF/Radio to lead an RF design workstream within a major telecommunications programme.

You will partner with an RF designer to provide project management, technical oversight and stakeholder management ensuring timely delivery and resolution of technical queries with MNOs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical challenge and oversight rather than hands-on design.
• Interface day-to-day with MNOs and their RF/planning teams.
• Lead design reviews, technical meetings and workshops.
• Manage technical queries, approvals, actions, risks and dependencies.
• Identify and resolve blockers and escalate issues when needed.
• Assess impact of changing requirements on cost, design and programme.
• Provide progress, risk and delivery reporting to the Project Lead.
• Ensure designs are mature and agreed ahead of deployment.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Project Manager - RF/Radio to join a major telecommunications infrastructure programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically credible RF/Radio professional who has moved into project, delivery and stakeholder management, and is looking for a role where they can take ownership of a key technical workstream.

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced RF designer, providing the project management, technical oversight and stakeholder management required to keep the radio design workstream on track.

A major part of the role will be acting as the key interface with MNO stakeholders, managing technical queries, design reviews, approvals, actions and dependencies through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the RF/Radio design workstream and associated delivery plan
• Set and manage milestones, deliverables, actions, owners and dependencies
• Work closely with RF designers to prioritise activity and ensure delivery to programme
• Provide technical challenge, assurance and oversight rather than being the primary hands-on designer
• Act as the day-to-day technical interface with MNOs and their RF, planning and engineering teams
• Lead design reviews, technical meetings and workshops
• Manage technical queries, approvals, actions, risks and dependencies
• Identify and resolve technical blockers and escalates issues where required
• Manage changing technical requirements and assess their impact on cost, design and programme
• Provide clear progress, risk and delivery reporting to the Project Lead
• Ensure designs are sufficiently mature and agreed ahead of deployment
