Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will lead engineering tasks within the Naval Controls Systems engineering team covering a number of engineering product change tasks ensuring adequate planning, resourcing and timely delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering tasks within the Naval Controls Systems engineering team on engineering product change projects.
  • Ensure adequate planning, resourcing and timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications
  • Successful track record within an Engineering Technical Project Management environment.
  • Ability to lead complex engineering projects.
  • Full project life cycle experience.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of either mechanical or electrical engineering product lines would be highly welcomed.
  • Supplier management exposure: end/end.
  • Appreciation of the engineering design process would be advantageous.
  • A degree from any engineering discipline.
  • Soft skills: good verbal and communication skills, well organized, adaptable, ability to work under pressure, etc.
Compliance / Notes
  • To work for Rolls-Royce you may need to hold a Security Check (SC). Rolls-Royce will support the application for SC if you don’t currently have it and it is required for the role.
