Overview

Head of Operations - North West - Hybrid / Flexible Working - Permanent - £60-70k + car or allowance + 8% pension contribution

Samuel Frank is recruiting a Head of Operations to join a small but well-established industrial automation consultancy located on the South side of Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver operational strategies aligned with growth objectives
• Lead and grow a small, high-performing team of client-facing engineers and consultants
• Head of Operations will drive digital transformation and process optimisation
• Promote a high-performance culture, fostering talent development and succession planning
• Manage P&L, budgeting and commercial approvals
• Drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and partners
• Oversee compliance, risk management, security and safety standards
• Company operates in various sectors and the successful Head of Operations will be delivering operations/solutions in the chemical, power generation and food & beverage sectors
• Working hours are flexible – if you want 2 hours for lunch to go to the gym for example, that will work or if you want to start later and finish later etc., you’ll be the one in control of your time
• All the team attend the office on a Monday and most attend on Wednesdays; apart from that you’ll either be at home, or visiting customers
• Working week is 37.5 hours, 25 days holiday plus the company will contribute 8% into a pension fund, regardless of employee contribution
• The office is commutable from most of the North West given you’re only required to be there 2 days a week
