Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of mobile and digital technology initiatives. Hybrid work with in-office presence in London or Sussex, 3 days per week.

The role requires 10+ years in technical project/programme or software delivery management, strong Agile/SAFe expertise, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, product, QA, and enterprise stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management or Software Delivery Management within technology-driven organisations.
• Proven experience delivering complex customer-facing software products, digital platforms, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience working with Engineering, Product, QA, and enterprise technology stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies, including planning, forecasting, dependency management, and scaled delivery.
• Technical fluency across software architecture, APIs, integrations, release management processes.
• Experience managing multiple teams, workstreams, and complex cross-functional dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of mobile and digital technology initiatives across planning, build, testing, release, and launch.
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, sequencing, risks, assumptions, and release timelines.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, QA, and enterprise teams to drive execution and resolve delivery challenges.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, technical dependencies, and cross-functional dependencies; ensure ownership and timely resolution.
• Manage multiple workstreams and provide visibility into progress, priorities, decisions, dependencies, and delivery forecasts.
• Facilitate scope, sequencing, and timeline trade-offs while aligning product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain delivery traceability and discipline through Jira and Confluence.
• Lead Agile practices: backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, PI planning, reviews, retrospectives, and risk management.

Technical Project Manager

24 month contract

Inside IR35 – Paying up to £50 per hour via umbrella.

Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office in London or Sussex

We are seeking an experienced, delivery-focused Senior Technical Project Manager

The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency, agile delivery leadership, structured project and programme management expertise, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. The TPM will ensure delivery plans are well defined, dependencies and risks are proactively managed, decisions are made in a timely manner, and engineering teams can deliver with confidence and predictability.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of mobile and digital technology initiatives across planning, build, testing, release, and launch.

• Stay closely engaged at delivery teams to understand progress, surface issues early, and remove impediments.

You will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Programme Management, or Software Delivery Management within technology-driven organizations.
• Proven experience leading the end‑to‑end delivery of complex customer‑facing software products, digital platforms, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with Engineering teams, Architects, Product teams, QA functions, and enterprise technology stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies, including planning, forecasting, dependency management, and scaled delivery.
• Technical fluency across software architecture, APIs, integrations, engineering dependencies, software quality risks, and release management processes.
