A reputable practice in the UK is seeking a highly capable Technical Delivery Architect to join their healthcare delivery team. Technical Delivery Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist

A reputable practice is actively seeking a highly capable Technical Delivery Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist/Technician to strengthen their healthcare delivery team. This role is centred on the detailed design, coordination, and delivery of live healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to technical design and delivery of acute healthcare projects from Stage 3 onwards.
  • Produce and coordinate detailed technical packages for construction issue and live site delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health Building Notes (HBNs), Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs), fire strategy, infection control and statutory compliance.
  • Coordinate multi‑disciplinary consultant inputs including MEP, fire, acoustics and structural teams.
  • Work directly with NHS Trust Estates & other contractual partners.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience delivering UK NHS healthcare projects at RIBA Stages 3-7.
  • Direct experience working within live hospital environments and complex decant and phasing programmes.
  • Proven working knowledge of HTMs (fire, ventilation, medical gases, electrical, water safety, etc.) and HBNs for acute departments.
  • First‑hand experience of NHS Trust approval processes, business case gateways, HBN/HTM compliance, and construction within fully operational clinical settings.
