Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive complex, multi-disciplinary projects for the UK public sector. You will lead planning, risk identification, and cross-functional coordination with engineers, product teams, and executives.
The role requires a technical degree, 2 years in technical program management, experience in technology consulting or government spaces, and the ability to obtain UK Security Check clearance.
The UK Sovereign Operations (SovOps) team in Google Public Sector delivers, operates and secures private cloud services. We aim to provide the flexibility, reliability, and scalability of public cloud for customers with exceptionally high security requirements that can only be met in a private cloud environment. We deliver and operate these private cloud deployments for the most critical customers, helping scale, secure and maintain the deployment whilst working closely with Google Cloud product teams to continually improve our technology.
You will be part of the team delivering Google Cloud innovations to the UK public sector. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You are equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
