Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this Technical Program Management role, you will own and drive projects for the EMEA Network Acquisitions (GNA) Planning team.

You will be highly analytical, involving data-driven analysis to develop overall Network Topology plans, compiling technical requirements for network assets such as fiber and leased wavelengths in order to meet forecast demand, while complying with Network Architecture guidelines. You will be expected to optimize Google’s Production Network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency while maintaining the ability to meet new product rollout in a timely manner. This will be accomplished through close cross-functional collaboration and teamwork with Strategic Negotiators, varying TPgMs and Network Engineers across multiple teams.
