Who We Are

At IMG our Studios business use content and technology to power the worlds passion for sport working with global clients including The Premier League The R&A DP World Tour Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. Weve built Europes best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park London distributing 35000 hours of content globally and creating some of the worlds best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio podcast dubbing and VFX facilities with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether its live coverage archive highlights social media branded content or feature films we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Work alongside the Technical Lead to advise and help implement new technology within the production.
  • Work closely with Production Management on the commercial corporate and client deliverables.
  • Forward planning ideas generation and the ability to think creatively and inspire and coach teams to do the same.
  • Produce relevant technical documentation and drawings in advance of each match round
  • Attend match rounds as on-site Technical Producer.
  • Attend recces where technical input is required

  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
  • Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s) / unsocial hours / travel etc.
  • Weekend work unsocial hours and travel may be required throughout the season
  • Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
  • Key Results Areas
  • To successfully elevate the quality of production of the SPL.
  • To recommend and / or implement new technology and enhancements to the World Feed broadcast.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience in technical planning of OB deliveries within Saudi Arabia and WW Experience of a technical producer using differing workflows; onsite remote etc. An understanding of broadcast technologies including OB and remote workflows as well as contribution networks.
  • Good understanding on TV technical and production techniques.
  • Understanding of platform technologies.
  • Strong market knowledge.
  • Sound commercial skills with an ability to match editorial and commercial objectives.
  • Ability to deliver against challenging deadlines.
  • Facilitate and deliver change management.
  • Experience of managing key client relationships at a senior level.
  • An in-depth knowledge of production market trends both in sport and non-sport.
