Trowbridge-based wealth management firm TEMPLEGATE RECRUITMENT is seeking a Technical Paraplanner to join a collaborative technical team on a hybrid basis.

You will prepare high-quality financial planning reports, conduct pension, investment, and protection research, and support Financial Planners with tailored client strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance. A Chartered status and 5+ years paraplanning experience are preferred.

• Chartered status is required or highly preferred.
• Strong report writing and analytical skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, compliant financial planning reports and recommendations.
• Conduct pensions, investments, and protection research and analysis.
• Support Financial Planners in developing tailored client strategies.
• Ensure all work meets regulatory and compliance standards.
• Liaise with providers and internal teams to verify client data.
• Assist with complex cases and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, compliant financial planning reports and recommendations
• Conducting detailed research and analysis across pensions, investments, and protection
• Supporting Financial Planners in developing tailored client strategies
• Ensuring all work meets regulatory and compliance standards
• Liaising with providers and internal teams to gather and verify client data
• Assisting with complex casework and technical queriesContributing to process improvements and technical projects where required

What We're Looking For:

• Chartered status
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Paraplanning role
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and financial planning
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset
