Insite Energy is seeking a Technical Onboarding Coordinator to ensure the compliant onboarding of heat network metering systems. The role involves managing metering data arrangements and supporting regulatory obligations.
The ideal candidate will have experience with metering systems, strong attention to detail and an understanding of data validation. The position offers a hybrid working model and various employee benefits.
The Technical Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the compliant, accurate and technically robust onboarding of heat network metering and monitoring systems across new and existing communal and district heat networks.
The role is responsible for taking a site from survey, mobilisation or client handover stage through to a fully understood and technically validated metering data arrangement. This includes identifying and mapping all relevant monitoring points, understanding the site’s data communications systems, validating the data analysis systems, confirming data quality and ensuring that metering data is made available to the correct data consumers.
The role supports the regulatory obligations of Insite Energy and Insite’s clients under the Heat Network (Metering and Billing) Regulations 2014, as amended, as well as upcoming compliance frameworks including the Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme (HNTAS) and the Heat Network Metering and Monitoring Standard (MMS).
This is a technically focused role, combining metering knowledge, data systems understanding, onboarding discipline and regulatory awareness. The role supports the full lifecycle of heat network data onboarding, from initial review of existing metering arrangements through to platform configuration, data validation, internal handover and ongoing improvement of Insite’s metering and monitoring portfolio.
The successful candidate will ensure that metering data can be reliably collected, stored, validated, analysed and shared with internal and external stakeholders, including Data Analysis Systems, billing systems, energy management teams, client services teams and ESCo management functions.
