Ashfield District Council in Dunblane, Stirling is seeking a Technical Officer for Environmental Health (Residential). The role focuses on delivering the Healthy Homes Project and addressing damp and mould in private housing to raise housing standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual to join our Environmental Health (Residential) Team as a Technical Officer.
Your role will be to help deliver our Healthy Homes Project; the focus being actions to address the issue of damp andmould in the private housing sector. In doing so, you will help the Council meet its aim of improving housing standards and ensuring all residents have decent and safe accommodation.
You will have a knowledge of housing standards and public health legislation and some experience of working in this field. You will have excellent communication skills and be a good problem solver and skilled negotiator.
The role is a varied one, it is both challenging and rewarding and sits within a team that is both ambitious and forward thinking.
Please note that successful candidates will be expected to work from the office for a period of up to three months, enabling them to access continued support and guidance as they settle into the role.
