Overview

Role: Technical Manager
Location: Shropshire • full-time onsite
Salary: Competitive starting salary
Hours: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:00pm, Friday 6:00am–2:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Champion food safety, quality, and compliance across all site operations.
  • Lead and evolve the site's Quality Management System (QMS) making it robust, agile, and audit-ready every day.
  • Take ownership of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and other site standards.
  • Manage internal and external audits, regulatory visits, and customer inspections with confidence and professionalism.
  • Oversee supplier approval, raw material verification, and documentation control.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions, product traceability, and recall readiness.
  • Ensure product testing, environmental monitoring, and pest control programmes hit the mark.
  • Keep calibration, training, and compliance records sharp and up to date.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring that they are always meeting regulatory and customer requirements.
