Fire Legacy Technical Manager

A new opportunity is available for a Fire Legacy Technical Manager responsible for overseeing fire safety remediation, legacy compliance and Gateway requirements across residential developments. The position requires strong technical knowledge, experience with fire safety systems and the ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fire safety and compliance support throughout all project stages
  • Maintain fire safety procedures, technical standards and documentation
  • Review legacy building information, fire strategies and remediation requirements
  • Support Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 submissions and Golden Thread compliance
  • Prepare and review technical details, performance specifications and reports
  • Attend internal design meetings and liaise with consultants and fire engineers
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues raised by project or site teams
  • Respond to RFIs and support coordination across project stakeholders
  • Conduct benchmarking reviews and provide feedback on fire safety installations
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in fire safety, façade remediation or building regulations compliance
  • Background in residential development, consultancy, construction or fire engineering
  • Strong understanding of passive fire protection, cladding systems and fire stopping
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations, British Standards and fire guidance
  • Familiarity with Gateway requirements and Golden Thread information
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
