Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking a Technical Manager to own technical standards across our renewable energy and retrofit portfolio. You will lead surveys, designs and installation methodologies, ensuring projects are designed correctly, installed safely and delivered right first time.

In this senior role you will mentor technical teams, drive compliance with PAS 2030/2035, MCS and Building Regulations, and act as the technical authority across project teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Technical Manager or senior technical role.
• Background in renewable energy, retrofit, M&E or construction.
• Strong knowledge of domestic retrofit and renewable technologies.
• Experience managing technical teams, installers or subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of quality, compliance and installation standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MCS experience.
• PAS 2030/2035 knowledge.
• NICEIC, NAPIT or similar industry experience.
• Social housing or funded retrofit programmes.
• IOSH, NEBOSH or relevant technical qualification.

Responsibilities

Technical Manager – Renewable Energy & Retrofit

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to take ownership of technical standards across a growing renewable energy and retrofit business.

This is a senior position for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with leadership ensuring projects are designed correctly, installed safely and delivered right first time.

You’ll become the technical point of authority across surveying, design, installation and compliance, working closely with project teams, installers, subcontractors and senior management.
