A leading medical technology provider is seeking an ambitious Assistant Technical Manager to manage technical projects and develop into a senior leadership role. Responsibilities include creating digital care solutions and supporting telecare devices. The ideal candidate will have strong RF skills, troubleshooting capabilities, and a relevant technical qualification. This role is home-based with nationwide travel and offers a salary of £45,000 – £50,000.
As part of our succession-planning programme we are offering an ambitious Assistant Technical Manager a structured 12-month career progression path, to develop into a senior leadership role as our Technical Manager. We are a respected player with high quality medical technology equipment designed to help elderly and disabled people live independently, staying safe and in control of their health and well-being.
BASIC SALARY : £45,000 – £50,000
LOCATION : Home-based with nationwide coverage, travelling 2-3 days per week to customers’ sites – occasional overnight stays may be required.
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS : Aylesbury, Leicester, Nottingham, Northampton, Birmingham, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Luton, Letchworth, St. Albans.

As our Assistant Technical Manager, you will play a leading part in managing the technical matters relating to strategic projects within our organisation. Your job will be varied and include ensuring both timely and accurate delivery of digital projects.

Your sector experience could come from any of the following industries : Telecare, Tech Enabled Care, Avionics, Aerospace, Defence, Telecommunications, NHS, MOD, or MedTech.
