Job summary

A leading health technology firm seeks a Technical Lead to provide leadership for the NHS Federated Data Platform programme. This role involves shaping technical design, assuring quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in data platforms, cloud technologies, and NHS standards, and must communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. This is a contract position requiring a mid-senior level of expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Senior Architect on complex digital platforms.
• Experience working on NHS Federated Data Platform (FDP) or large-scale data initiatives.
• Knowledge of interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, SNOMED CT.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for FDP solution design and delivery.
• Collaborate with architects to align designs and oversee development standards.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for delivery teams.
