The Technical Lead - Modernization Solutions is a pivotal role that focuses on the strategic design and implementation of solutions for our prospects and clients using Modern Systems' automated migration tools. This role is crucial in bridging traditional mainframe systems with contemporary application environments, thereby enabling our clients to leverage the full potential of their IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technical solutions based on Modern Systems' automated migration tools, ensuring seamless integration and migration of legacy systems to modern platforms.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of z/OS, COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe‑related technologies to understand and analyze client's existing systems.
  • Apply full‑stack development expertise in Java and/or C# to architect and develop new or migrated applications, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients during the implementation process, providing technical guidance and support, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication of project progress and solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers and technical staff, guiding them through complex modernization projects and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct detailed analysis, provide technical leadership, and recommend innovative solutions to address complex technical challenges.
  • Deliver presentations and technical reports to clients, explaining complex technical concepts in clear, understandable terms.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in application modernization, code and data conversion, and related technologies, continuously refining our service offerings.
