Shape the future of submarine support – and your career.
At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a Technical Information Manager at our Babcock Technology Centre site.
As a Technical Information Manager, you’ll be at the heart of one of the UK’s most advanced defence programmes – supporting the safe operation and maintenance of the Dreadnought class submarines. You’ll lead the development and coordination of technical information, helping to shape how data is structured, stored and delivered through Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs). This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on national security while advancing your career in a dynamic and future-focused environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll lead the planning, coordination and delivery of supplier-produced technical documentation, ensuring it meets safety and project standards while engaging with stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home. Frequent travel is required to MoD Abbey Wood and other sites as required.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
