As a Field Engineer, you will be working across the Southwest region, providing technical input and support to our customers. You'll be working closely with our sales team to maximise sales opportunities and win key applications with customers in this area. You will preferably be based in Scotland covering the central belt of Scotland.

What does the role involve?

In the role of Field Engineer, you will provide engineering support and coverage to both consulting engineers and focused customers, to secure specifications and provide a valuable engineering service. No two days will be the same - you'll be working on-site one day and then collaborating with the office technical team the next.

You will also provide technical support and training to the company’s personnel and customers to ensure the delivery of a high-quality engineering support service at all times.

Good organisational skills are essential to plan and prioritise your day effectively, ensuring optimum use of time and resources.

What you need is:

  • A Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, including design and construction processes
  • Previous experience in an engineering role (on-site or in a design office)
  • Strong networking skills and ability to develop business relationships with key stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
