Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar technical role is necessary.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage both sub-contractors and direct labour ensuring high levels of delivery.
  • Oversee budgets and engage with clients regarding contract issues.
  • Ensure audits and compliance as well as health and safety on site.

Are you an experienced facilities manager? Are you technically qualified in an electrical or mechanical trade? I may have the challenge for you. My client are a large facilities company who over see a number of commercial contracts nationally. They are currently seeking a technically qualified facilities manager to join an existing team on a large industrial site near Oxford. This is a site based role working Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

  • Managing both sub-contractors and direct labour ensuring high levels of delivery within a KPI's of contract
  • Managing and over seeing budgets
  • Engaging with client and key stakeholders regarding any contract issues
  • Involved in audits and compliance ensuring log books are kept up to date
  • Over seeing all H&S on site including SOP's, RAMS ect
  • Holding an IOSH certificate you will also be able to demonstrate an awareness of CDM regulations
  • Working along side the contract manager

The ideal candidate will need:

  • Technically qualified either mechanical or electrical trade
  • Experience in a similar technical role
  • Experience working on CAFM systems
  • Knowledge of CDM Regs
  • Able to pass DBS
