Data Cabling Engineer

Job Description: One of our clients are actively looking for a Cabling Engineers to service their clients across London. Data Centre project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, termination, and maintenance of structured cabling systems to support the critical infrastructure of the facility.

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, fiber optic).
• Conduct cable pulling, routing, and dressing in compliance with industry standards.
• Perform troubleshooting, fault‑finding, and repairs on cabling systems.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of cabling infrastructure.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other team members.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cable Technician in data centre or large‑scale commercial projects. Knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, ANSI).
