Job summary

Multiplex is seeking a Technical Engineer within our Plant & Equipment team in Greater London. You will support engineering activities across temporary works, tower cranes, and hoists, reviewing drawings, checking information for accuracy, and coordinating with subcontractors.

You will apply structural and civil engineering principles, work with engineered information, and bring an eye for dimensional control and quality assurance to every project.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of structural and civil engineering principles.
• Comfortable working with technical drawings and engineering information.
• Good AutoCAD skills and understanding of relevant standards and codes of practice.
• Experience with cranes, hoists or temporary works design would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review or produce tower crane and hoist scheme drawings, check information for completeness and accuracy.
• Inspect subcontractor work for technical compliance and dimensional quality, maintain QA documentation.
• Raise RFIs, monitor changes to designs and provide technical, quality and dimensional control support.
