Technical Engineer – Permanent – Telford

We are recruiting a Technical Support Engineer / Telecoms Specialist / Technical Engineer for our client in Telford. The role requires West Midland‑wide travel and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installation and configuration of various communication systems.
• Fault finding, troubleshooting and customer support.
• Providing on‑site training to customers.
• Regular travel to Shropshire, West Midlands, Staffordshire and Mid Wales.
• Collaborating with the team to learn bespoke products.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in an IT or telecommunication support / software‑based support role.
• Strong technical understanding and willingness to learn bespoke products.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with customers at various technical levels.
• Professional, flexible, well‑organised, with a valid UK driving licence.

Standard working hours are 08:30–17:30, Monday–Friday with some flexibility required for field‑based tasks. You should live within commuting distance of Telford.
