Job summary

Gripple in Sheffield is seeking a Technical Engineer to join the in-house technical services team, supporting the UK sales force with drawings, specifications and technical proposals for construction projects.

You will produce 2D CAD drawings, specify Gripple products, perform basic engineering calculations, and handle technical enquiries by phone, helping to grow our specification-led strategy. A STEM qualification and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• STEM qualification at degree level or equivalent is required.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD and technical drawings is preferred.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings, designs and proposals for UK construction projects.
• Specify Gripple products and perform basic engineering calculations.
• Prepare technical proposals and production drawings for 'special' products.
• Handle technical enquiries by phone and via email, supporting sales.
