About the job:

We are looking for a hands-on proactive, experienced and passionate technical writer for the technical documentation efforts across all Tether products. In this role, you will be responsible for the documentation for our open source projects and our platform products which includes public npm modules and robust modular codebase.

Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively update the documentation to match the rapid development pace of the development team.
  2. Writing and improving documentation, guides, FAQs, etc.
  3. Developing high quality proof of concept application and example snippets.
  4. Staying aware of questions and issues faced by the community and improving the documentation to support them better.

Minimum requirements:

  1. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, developing high-quality, clean and efficient code.
  2. 1+ years of experience in technical writing.
  3. Proficiency in English.
  4. Passion and experience working with open source technologies.
  5. Experience with Git and markdown.
  6. Since our team is distributed globally, experience in remote collaboration and good communication skills are essential to align with our dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  7. Experience with C/C++ is a nice to have.
