Job summary

SLR Consulting seeks a Technical Director in Mine Waste Engineering to lead tailings and mine waste projects across the UK and Europe. You will manage projects from concept to construction and act as Engineer of Record, collaborating with a global, multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has extensive tailings experience, Chartered status or eligibility, and strong business development and advisory skills within a consultancy environment.

SLR is now seeking a Technical Director with extensive experience in tailings and mine waste to join our growing team in SLR’s European Region.This position will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to grow their skills and career within a successful and expanding team, working in the mining sector, both in the EU and further afield.**The role**As a Technical Director in the mine waste team, you will manage your own projects and support others on the delivery of mine waste projects led by other in-house technical disciplines.
