Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional awareness of technical matters in the fire industry, synthesise developments and provide updates.
  • Guide engineering professionals and deliver complex solutions for large construction projects.
  • Lead current and future projects ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded; develop key client relationships.
  • Drive technical excellence, team engagement, and client development.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert for clients.
  • Coordinate with design teams, building control, and fire service.
  • Attend industry conferences to network and stay abreast of best practices.
  • Supervise and train graduate engineers.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Background in fire engineering, preferably consultancy.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering or a related field such as Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ideally a Chartered Engineer or working towards one.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and management skills.
  • Desire to mentor and manage junior professionals.
