Associate / Technical Director - Transport Planning

£70,000 - £90,000 per annum | Permanent | London / Leeds / Bristol (Hybrid)

What We're Looking For
  • Extensive experience in transport planning within a consultancy environment
  • Proven track record of successful business development and winning new work
  • Demonstrable client followership with established relationships
  • Significant experience leading complex transport planning projects
  • Chartered status (MCIHT, MRTPI, MICE or equivalent)
  • Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning or related discipline
  • Specialist capability in areas such as development planning, active travel, business case development, or public transport planning
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills

This Associate / Technical Director - Transport Planning position is ideal for ambitious professionals seeking genuine autonomy to demonstrate their ability with better reward and recognition. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow the transport planning market
  • Build and maintain a strong client base and lead on tenders and proposals

  • Build, develop and mentor transport planning teams across offices
  • Collaborate with Partners to shape business direction and identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure all work meets the highest technical standards and client expectations
