Job summary

AWD online is looking for a Technical Designer to join a specialist design team, producing detailed technical drawings and BIM designs for luxury spa and wellness environments using Revit and AutoCAD.

You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with European manufacturers and international clients on distinctive spa projects, and deepen your understanding of MEP integration within high-end spaces. This is a full-time, office-based role in Enfield, North London, offering a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Solid experience using Revit in a design studio or architectural practice.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working understanding of BIM and AutoCAD.
• Attention to detail and a passion for beautiful, functional spaces.
• Interest or experience in MEP systems integration.
• Comfort with metric and imperial units; familiarity with international building codes.
• Strong communication in English; multilingual a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe, USA, and beyond.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Technical Designer with strong Revit skills and the ability to manage simultaneous design projects.

As a Technical Designer you will combine creative flair with technical precision, taking ownership of detailed drawings for luxury pools, saunas, snow rooms and steam rooms. Working as the Technical Designer you will use BIM and AutoCAD knowledge, develop your understanding of MEP systems and collaborate on distinctive international spa and wellness projects.

DUTIES

• Technical Drawings: Produce accurate, detailed drawings for specialist spa and wellness environments
• Revit Design: Create and develop technical design information using Revit
• BIM and CAD: Apply BIM principles and AutoCAD knowledge to support coordinated project delivery
• Project Ownership: Manage design work across simultaneous projects while maintaining accuracy and quality
• MEP Integration: Contribute to the integration of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems within specialist designs
• Design Collaboration: Work with the design team, expert European manufacturers and international clients
• Technical Problem-Solving: Resolve design challenges with a practical, detail-focused and collaborative approach

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Solid professional experience using Revit, ideally in a design studio or architectural practice
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Working understanding of BIM and AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for designing beautiful, functional spaces
• Interest or experience in MEP systems integration
• Confidence working with both metric and imperial units, and an interest in international building codes
• Clear and professional communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally across Europe, the USA, and further afield
