Appian is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead complex agile delivery and drive executive engagement across large-scale enterprise programs powered by our AI-Powered Process Automation platform. You’ll partner with architects, product designers, and client executives to deliver high-impact digital transformations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Agile delivery experience leading technology implementation teams.
• Experience managing a portfolio or book of business using forecasting and budgets.
• Experience in CRM, ERP, Data Integration Architecture, EAI, or master data management.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually to support customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of agile program management for Appian-led engagements, proactively managing delivery risks and removing project impediments.
• Partner with front-line sales to qualify opportunities, identify enterprise problems, position services, and drive account expansion.
• Manage a complex book of business with financial metrics and performance indicators to ensure profitability.
• Architect application roadmaps by analyzing customer goals and mapping long-term digital transformation journeys.
• Cultivate executive relationships with key client stakeholders, buyers, influencers, and delivery partners.

The Delivery Management team is directly responsible for driving customer growth through deep technical expertise, trusted advisory, and demonstrated results. Working in close alignment with Appian Sales and Partners, we lead innovative implementations and turn complex corporate visions into scalable software solutions. As a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM), you will own two of Appian's most critical corporate objectives: orchestrating flawless software delivery and unlocking exponential account growth. This role is unique because it blends technical delivery mastery with strategic account management. You won't just oversee timelines; you will partner with architects, product designers, and client executives to manage large-scale enterprise programs powered by our AI-Powered Process Automation platform.,

• Orchestrate Agile Delivery: Oversee all aspects of agile program management for Appian-led engagements, proactively managing delivery risks and removing project impediments.
• Drive Strategic Growth: Partner with front-line sales representatives to qualify opportunities, identify enterprise problems, position services, and execute account expansion strategies.
• Manage Financial Portfolios: Successfully oversee a complex book of business, utilizing rigorous financial management tools and performance metrics to ensure profitability.
• Architect Application Roadmaps: Analyze customer strategic goals to build compelling business cases, define high-value use cases, and map long-term digital transformation journeys.
• Cultivate Executive Relationships: Establish and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, buyers, influencers, and delivery partners.
• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Team with software architects and product designers to design, construct, and deploy Enterprise-Grade Orchestration solutions.
  Degree: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical/analytical field.
• Agile Leadership: 5+ years of experience in an Agile delivery environment, with at least 1 year of direct experience leading technology implementation teams.
• Financial Account Management: Proven experience managing a portfolio or book of business using structured financial tools, forecasting, and budgets.
• Value-Based Selling: Demonstrated expertise using value selling methods to build compelling business cases and financial benefits for client proposals.
• Travel: Willingness to travel 10% or less annually to support vital customer engagements., Industry Frameworks: Professional background within key verticals such as Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, or Manufacturing.
• Enterprise Architecture: Experience within software consulting specializing in CRM, ERP, Data Integration Architecture, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), or master data management.
  The base salary provided represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer. A discretionary bonus may be awarded in recognition of individual and company performance.
