We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to lead the end-to-end delivery of a strategic Azure AI and Agentic Workflow transformation programme. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a unique combination of solution architecture, technical delivery, stakeholder management, business analysis, and programme leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the design, development, integration, and delivery of a cloud-native, AI-powered platform built on Microsoft Azure. The role involves leading multiple engineering workstreams, translating complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions, managing delivery risks and dependencies, and acting as the key interface between business stakeholders, engineering teams, platform vendors, and executive leadership.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of technology, business, and delivery while maintaining ownership of overall programme outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery Leadership

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams across multiple technology streams.
• Drive daily stand-ups, technical reviews, sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and release readiness activities.
• Own delivery plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and issue management.
• Ensure successful execution of programme objectives within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate activities across business, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and vendor teams.

Solution Architecture & Technical Governance

• Provide technical leadership across cloud, platform, integration, AI, and application architecture.
• Design and govern scalable, secure, and resilient Azure-based solutions.
• Review, challenge, and validate architectural decisions and implementation approaches.
• Drive technical governance and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead design discussions involving integration patterns, event-driven architectures, APIs, microservices, and data platforms.

Business & Requirements Leadership

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and delivery roadmaps.
