A leading food production company in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a Part-Time Technical Services Co-ordinator. The role involves ensuring food safety and compliance, preparing documentation, and conducting audits. Ideal candidates will possess Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 certifications, with experience in food safety and excellent attention to detail. This temporary to permanent position offers flexible working hours at £13.08 per hour.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 3 & HACCP Level 2 are essential.
• Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, GHP, and Food Defence is essential.
• Internal auditing experience and basic microbiology knowledge is advantageous.
• Knowledge of legal labelling requirements.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence to work independently, with good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to process data quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue internal specifications and factory documentation.
• Complete customer product questionnaires and respond to queries.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries.
• Review and approve technical artwork, ensuring compliance and barcode accuracy.
• Support product launches with accurate documentation and communication.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits (BRCGS, COP, customer standards).
• Carry out GAP analysis, escalating issues and ensuring corrective action is taken.
• Maintain document control for food safety and quality records.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site.

Overview

Kinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting a leading food production company in Ashton-under-Lyne in the recruitment of a Part-Time Technical Services Co-ordinator.

This is a key role ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance are maintained across all products and processes.

This is a part-time, temporary to permanent role, working 25 hours per week. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm, with flexibility available.
