Technical Coordinator – North London – Residential Developer

My client, a top 20 residential developer, is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their team in North West London. The successful candidate will have experience working on new build residential developments and will report to the Senior Technical Manager.

The role involves working closely with the technical team, architectural team, commercial team, and production team during the development process. This includes managing drawing packages, ensuring timely delivery, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Requirements for the ideal candidate include:

  • 5+ years of experience in residential development, working on multiple new build projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of the development and technical design process.
  • Proven knowledge of detailed design for residential schemes using different construction methods, including RC frame and timber frame.
  • Ability to question and query design information across all disciplines.
  • Architectural background, with proficiency in AutoCAD beneficial.
  • Sound understanding of statutory requirements, including Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, and Sustainability.
  • Ability to interpret and negotiate compliance with these regulations.
  • Ability to understand and interrogate design and project programmes, identifying Critical Paths.
  • Degree-level education or a relevant professional qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all disciplines at all levels.
  • Well-organized, with the ability to manage people, processes, and time effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills.
