A leading housebuilder in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Technical Coordinator to join their Southeast team. The role involves managing external consultants, coordinating technical meetings, and ensuring compliance with Building Regulations. The ideal candidate should have experience in housebuilding and a strong understanding of statutory approvals. Qualifications

  • Experience in housebuilding or technical coordination.
  • Ability to manage consultants and ensure timely delivery of construction documents.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and statutory approvals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage external consultants to deliver construction documents on time and within budget.
  • Lead and coordinate Design-Technical meetings, recording key actions.
  • Review drawings and specs for compliance, buildability, and value engineering.
  • Coordinate and check subcontractor and supplier design information.
  • Attend key supplier and subcontractor meetings as needed.
  • Oversee distribution of design documents with Document Controller.
  • Ensure Building Regulations and Warranty conditions are met without delay.
  • Secure all necessary statutory approvals on time.

Our client is a well-established, 5-star rated housebuilder with a strong reputation for quality. With over 500 units set to be delivered this year, they're going through a period of steady growth and are looking to bring a capable and motivated Technical Coordinator into their Southeast team. You\'ll be working closely with a highly respected Technical Director who brings a broad understanding of all areas of the business.

  • Review drawings and specs for compliance, buildability, and value engineering
