Technical Coordinator

Location: Epping area
Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm, Friday 8.00am-4.00pm
Permanent, full-time position

We are working with a well-established manufacturing and production business in the Epping area who are looking to appoint a Technical Coordinator to support their order processing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that customer orders are handled accurately, technical specifications are correct, and production teams have everything they need to deliver projects smoothly.

Key responsibilities
  • Process customer orders with accuracy, ensuring details match final quotations and purchase orders.
  • Review and validate technical specifications against drawings and schedules prior to production.
  • Act as a link between sales, estimating, design, and production teams to clarify requirements and resolve queries.
  • Maintain and update the order schedule using internal systems (e.g. Trello) to track workflow and deadlines.
  • Compile and prepare documentation, drawings, and cutting lists into complete job packs for the factory team.
What you'll need
  • Experience in order processing, estimating, project coordination, or sales administration (essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing technical information.
  • Previous exposure to manufacturing, joinery, or construction environments (advantageous but not essential).
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD or SolidWorks drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
