Job summary

Client Server in Manchester is seeking a Technical Consultant / Developer (Python AWS SaaS) to lead bespoke customer implementations. You will work directly with clients to understand requirements and design, build and deliver cloud-based solutions using Python and AWS.

This senior, hands-on role combines technical excellence with customer engagement, influencing solution design and key technical decisions from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience of working directly with clients and taking ownership of client bespoke development work.
• Strong Python backend development skills, ideally including FastAPI.
• Experience with AWS including Amazon CDK.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and modern software engineering practices.
• Full software development lifecycle experience with business acumen in startups/SMEs.

Technical Consultant / Developer (Python AWS SaaS) Manchester / WFH to £80k

As a Technical Consultant, you'll take end-to-end ownership of bespoke customer implementations, partnering closely with clients to understand their requirements and design, build and deliver cloud based solutions using Python and AWS.

This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll combine technical expertise with customer engagement, influence solution design, make key technical decisions and see the impact of your work from concept through to delivery.

Location / WFH:

You'll join a small but growing team based in Central Manchester three days a week (or at client sites) with flexibility to work from home the other two days.

About you:

• You have experience of working directly with clients and taking ownership of client bespoke development work
• You have strong Python backend development skills ideally including FastAPI
• You have experience with AWS including Amazon CDK
• You have a strong understanding of DevOps principles
• You have full software development lifecycle experience and a good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
• You have good business acumen, with experience of working in start-ups or SMEs
• You're proactive and keen to contribute to the product
• You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
• Ideally, you'll have an active Github account and / or personal projects
