A leading food production company in England is seeking a Technical Compliance Manager to develop, implement, and improve Technical Safety and Quality systems. You will manage audits and ensure adherence to food safety regulations such as HACCP. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a science discipline, experience in quality assurance, and strong managerial skills. The Technical Compliance Manager is accountable for developing, improving, and implementing the Technical Safety and Quality systems for branded and retailer own brand products at Albert Bartlett Added Value site. As an expert in auditing and systems management they will train teams within the site (e.g., production and QA) in Albert Bartlett Quality and safety systems, HACCP, and relevant internal audit procedures. Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, they will deputise when appropriate. They will be accountable for developing and managing BRC and customer unannounced audits to the highest level. They will provide appropriate management information and reports to enable improvement in the Albert Bartlett quality systems.
They will manage the testing programme to ensure adherence to the QMS, TACCP/ VACCP and HACCP programmes.
In addition, when necessary, deputise for the Technical Manager.
