Job summary

Sasse is recruiting a full-time Technical Cleaning Operative to deliver specialist cleaning, decontamination and sanitisation across client sites in Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. You will work on varied shifts with opportunities for training and career progression.

The role requires a positive, can-do attitude, a clean criminal record for Level 3 Police Clearance, and a valid driving licence. A company van is provided, plus benefits and discount schemes.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to obtain Level 3 Police Clearance (paid by the company).
• Basic COSHH understanding and safety awareness.
• Full clean UK driving license (category B).

Responsibilities

• Operate specialist floor care machinery including buffers, scrubbers, and polishing equipment.
• Deep clean and maintain carpets in accordance with standards.
• Carry out window cleaning using reach-and-wash systems and traditional methods.
• Deep clean washroom facilities, including descaling, sanitising, and sterilising surfaces.
• Respond promptly to scheduled and emergency cleaning requests, including out-of-hours callouts.
• Carry out decontamination, sanitisation, and infection control services in high-risk environments.
• Safely identify, handle, and dispose of sharps and hazardous materials.
• Complete job reports and maintain operational records.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, vehicles, stock levels, and consumables.
