Job summary

HX is seeking a Buyer - Technical to manage procurement for marine and technical categories, plus SG&A as needed. The role covers multi-port supply chains to vessels across Americas and Europe, collaborating with Operations Leadership to align with operational needs.

The role requires expedition/cruise ops experience, English fluency, and a proactive, analytical mindset. Travel internationally will be part of the role, and a hybrid work arrangement is supported.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Experience in expedition/cruise ops with multiple ports of call.
• Ability to balance cost, quality and service.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for marine/technical and SG&A categories.
• Conduct sourcing, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.
• Create and process POs from vessel requisitions.
• Monitor procurement trends in assigned regions.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure supply continuity.
