Job summary

A leading central government organisation is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a cloud migration programme. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS and Oracle, along with strong stakeholder management skills. This is a hybrid role based in London, with a contract duration of 6 months and opportunities for extension. Candidates must possess SC clearance.

Technical Business Analyst

I am currently on the look for a Technical Business Analyst to join a leading central government organisation on a large cloud migration programme. Within this role, the candidate will have a very hands on background of the migration of AWS and Oracle.

Rate - £500.00 per day outside ir35

Location - London - hybrid work model

Duration - 6 Months with the opportunity of extension

Clearance - SC Cleared - due to client timeframes you must be a holder of this

Key Responsibilities

Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, gathering and translating requirements effectively.Support the planning and execution of a large-scale cloud migration, with a specific focus on AWS and Oracle technologies.Conduct in-depth analysis of current systems and workflows to support seamless migration and integration.Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure technical requirements are well-defined and aligned with business needs.Document and manage detailed technical specifications and user stories.Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst on cloud migration programmes.Strong, hands-on knowledge of AWS and Oracle, particularly in migration contexts.Experience working within central government or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
