Would you like to contribute to a greener world by helping organizations make the switch to clean, battery-powered energy? Become our Technical Business Developer for the grid market at Greener Power Solutions.

Powering the grid with your sales energy ⚡

You’ll be part of our Commercial Team, working closely with colleagues from Sales, Product, and Operations to expand Greener’s presence in the UK grid market.

As our Technical Business Developer, you’ll take the lead in opening new doors and driving Greener’s growth in the UK grid market. You actively identify and approach new business opportunities, build and manage your own pipeline, and guide potential clients from first contact to signed contract. Combining your commercial drive with a deep understanding of the UK grid, battery energy storage systems, and energy transition projects, you know how to turn complex challenges into clear, valuable solutions. You don’t just sell; you consult. You ask the right questions, listen carefully, and advise customers on the best technical and commercial setup for their needs.

From preparing tailored proposals and delivering impactful presentations to negotiating terms and closing deals, you make sure every conversation moves things forward. You collaborate closely with our technical, product, and operations teams to design the right solutions, while keeping an eye on market trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies. You’ll also represent Greener at industry events, strengthen relationships with key players in the energy sector, and hand over new customers seamlessly to our account management team once the contracts are signed. It’s your mission to grow Greener’s presence in the UK grid market, win new clients, and show them how our mobile batteries can make their operations cleaner, smarter, and more flexible.

  • Consult with clients to turn complex challenges into clear, valuable solutions using knowledge of the UK grid, battery energy storage systems, and energy transition projects.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, deliver impactful presentations, negotiate terms, close deals, collaborate with technical, product, and operations teams, monitor market trends and policy changes, and represent Greener at industry events.
  • Ensure smooth handover of new customers to the account management team after contract signing.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in energy, consultancy, or technical solutions;
  • Strong understanding of the UK grid and energy market, based in Bristol;
  • Consultative sales approach; you listen, understand, and advise customers toward the best solution;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; both technical and commercial;
  • Proven track record in generating leads and closing deals;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset;
  • Proactive, self-driven, and eager to grow the UK grid business;
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field is a plus.
