Technical Business Analyst – Global Electronic Trading | London (Hybrid).

Miller Maxwell is partnering with a prestigious international electronic trading firm to hire a Technical Business Analyst for their expanding financial technology team in London.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a high-performance trading environment, acting as a key liaison between internal technical teams and external stakeholders. If you're passionate about bridging the gap between business and technology—and fluent in Spanish—this role offers a compelling platform for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary interface between internal engineering teams and external clients, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
  • Collaborate with product, software engineering, and sales teams to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What the successful Technical Business Analyst will need to bring:

  • A 2:1 or above in a STEM-related degree (essential).
  • 6+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst within financial services, ideally in an electronic trading environment.
  • Strong background in cloud-based business analysis (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Enterprise).
  • Familiarity with modern tech stacks including AWS, Java, and/or C++.
  • Electronic Trading - Market Data - FIX Protocol - ITCH - FIX Connectivity - Exchange Connectivity - Latency improvement - Networking - highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
