Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a high-profile government data transformation programme in the UK. The role focuses on integrating and analysing complex datasets to improve intelligence and operational decision-making.

The initial phase includes delivering a proof of value, defining data-matching requirements and assessing opportunities for automation. You will work with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data-driven analytics or data transformation programmes.
• Ability to document complex data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document technical and business requirements for data integration and analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to define ingestion, transformation and matching requirements.
• Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
• Support integration and analysis of multiple datasets, identifying risks and data quality considerations.
• Assist in proof-of-value delivery, aligning requirements with programme objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Identify opportunities to automate data integration and matching in future phases.
• Collaborate with other Business Analysts to maintain delivery continuity.
