About the Role An exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised Technical Software Documentation Officer to support several software development teams within a leading defence organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multi-tasking, coordinating technical activities, and being at the centre of software delivery and project management.

You’ll play a key part in helping development teams plan, document, configure, and deliver fully qualified software products - ensuring compliance with high-reliability and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support multiple projects through the full software lifecycle.
  • Maintain and manage software documentation, configuration data, and release records.
  • Interface directly with software engineers, project leaders, and test teams.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and delivery of integration artefacts.
  • Ensure all software activities meet internal and regulatory process standards.
  • Support process improvement and drive adherence to best practices across teams.
