Job description
Overview

This is a full time (37 hrs pw), hybrid role based at our office in Swindon. You will be required to come into the office on an adhoc basis, generally at least once a fortnight.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel. The role will involve travel across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive approvals through the internal processes, obtaining and documenting all relevant data from the suppliers to reduce the approval process time for the client.
  • Act as a generalist to help support the technical specialist in creating proposals for clients.
  • Speak with Water Companies and product suppliers to widen the knowledge and awareness of WRc Approved and the benefits this brings.
  • Undertake, witness testing, manufacturing and installation audits both nationally and internationally.
  • Understanding and addressing client needs when designing solutions, while ensuring they meet agreed standards and best practices.
Person Specification
  • Background in the water industry, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or design engineering is preferable.
  • Background in auditing is also preferable (ideally to ISO 9001).
  • Motivated and proactive to drive approvals forward.
  • Strong stakeholder / client management and engagement skills.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and build cross-functional teams to develop compelling value propositions.
  • Full UK manual driving license with access to own vehicle.
