The role involves managing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring compliance, and developing a Technical Assurance Plan. Ideal candidates will have experience in regulated environments and a solid understanding of technical standards. This position offers a salary of around £75,000 and various benefits including a discretionary bonus and pension contributions.
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Technical Assurance Manager who brings hands‑on experience, technical insight, and strong project leadership skills to help deliver a truly historic, large‑scale programme.
Responsible for the provision of robust technical assurance throughout the programme to restore the Houses of Parliament, you will be supporting the running and operation of the associated governance forums to achieve compliance, drive continuous improvement and ensure records are auditable.
You will manage, guide and mentor multi‑disciplinary teams, across the Restoration and Renewal programme, from Design Management to the wider supply chain. A key part of your role will be to ensure that appropriate compliance checks are undertaken, so that solutions meet requirements, adhere to technical standards and align with the programme’s vision and strategic themes. It will also be essential to collaborate effectively with a variety of teams to develop and manage a Technical Assurance Plan for each project, applying a risk‑based, evidence‑driven approach that delivers value for money.
