Job description

Overview

We are looking for a hard working and dedicated person to work in our small team near Prestatyn. Ideally we are looking for someone who is already qualified / has extensive experience in digital aspects of manufacturing printed circuit boards, including design and programming. We will consider applications from those who are studying or have recently studied computing (including data input, python, C, java and MS Office), can use CAD and can BUS systems and operate CNC machines, however all applicants must have knowledge and understanding of these systems/methods of work.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate high end precision machinery, interpreting code (from different formats), and fault finding and rectification.
• Carry out significant data input from building bill of materials to generating buying lists, keep up to date with customer amendments, adjust our ERP system to reflect these changes and ensure we are building to the most current version with the right components.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and other team members both verbally and in writing.
• Assist on the assembly line when required and gain a basic level of build knowledge and experience if not an Assembly Operative.
• Due to the nature of the role, work with electrical wiring and maintain good eye sight, dexterity and avoid colour blindness.

Qualifications

• Excellent candidates will have experience in digital aspects of manufacturing PCBs, including design and programming.
• Applicants may be studying or have studied computing (including data input, python, C, java and MS Office), can use CAD, understand BUS systems, and operate CNC machines.
• Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and be able to teach others knowledgably and confidently.
