Job summary
Architecture Social seeks a technically proficient Architect or Architectural Technologist to join its London team hybrid. You will deliver robust technical design, drive BIM workflows, and coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors across diverse sectors.
Ideal candidates bring UK regs expertise, Revit mastery, and a collaborative, proactive approach to complex, high-profile projects in a design-led studio environment.
Qualifications
- ARB-registered Architect with proven technical design experience.
- Proficient in producing precise technical documentation.
- UK building regulations knowledge and procurement understanding.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project leaders to assess feasibility, environmental factors and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate planning submissions and approvals.
- Identify pre-construction surveys and integrate findings into design.
- Produce detailed technical info using Revit and digital tools; ensure accuracy.
- Advise on contracts, procurement routes and delivery strategies.
- Develop technical specifications for materials, assemblies and systems.
- Contribute to health and safety planning through design risk assessments.
- Review building performance post-completion and assist in maintenance strategies.
- Promote sustainable refurbishment and deconstruction within design processes.
